This instruction sheet contains information on how to install the Proles Modular Light. This series comes in many variations. Please

refer to the box or product label for the specic model number. A key is provided on page 4.

Save these instructions for future use and reference. An improper installation voids the warranty. Carefully inspect the light for damage.

Installed products cannot be returned.

If you experience any problems with your light, contact your dealer or Robern directly.

DIMMER RECOMMENDATIONS Robern recommends the Maestro® C•L® Dimmer from LUTRON®, Model # MACL-153M. http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/369613a.pdf Other LED control dimmers may operate with this product but have not been tested or verified. It's recommended that the dimmer be within reach of your mirror so you can adjust the brightness while tasking. For on/off (non-dimming) operation a standard wall switch may be substituted in place of the dimmer.

NOTES Unpack the Light. Check the box thoroughly for all hardware and loose parts. Carefully inspect the fixture for damage. The Profiles Modular Light uses a replaceable LED Reflector Array. DANGER: Risk of personal injury. To avoid possible electrical shock, the electricity must be turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before attempting any installation procedure. DANGER: Risk of personal injury. To avoid possible electrical shock, the light fixture must be properly grounded.

STEP 1 - UNPACK AND DISASSEMBLE Prepare your wire connection. 1. Remove the Front Lens from the Light Case and set aside in a safe place (Fig. 1). 2. Carefully pull out the LED Reflector Array, disconnect and remove the Reflector from the Light Case and set aside (Fig. 2). 3. STEP 2 - MOUNTING THE LIGHT TO THE CABINET Assemble light(s) and cabinet(s) together on a flat level surface. STEP 3 - IN BETWEEN LIGHTING Assemble light(s) and cabinet(s) together on a flat level surface. Note: You will need to purchase the MGKIT Ganging Kit for multiple cabinet configurations. 1. For in-between lighting, use the standard pan head Screws [203-1247] included in the light hardware bag, and attach the Connecting Blocks, working from inside the cabinet (Fig. 1). 2.

STEP 4 - RECESS INSTALLATION FOR PL3.5 MODEL 1. Each fixture adds 3.5" (89 mm) or 7" (178 mm) per pair to the overall rough-in width of a standard cabinet installation. Refer to the cabinet instruction manual included with your M / PL / Profiles to calculate overall sizes and wall openings for recessed combinations (Fig. 1). Note: Refer to Electrical Connections on pages 11-12 for Field wire locations. 2.

STEP 4 - RECESS INSTALLATION FOR PL5.0 MODEL 1. Each fixture adds 5" (127 mm) or 10" (254 mm) per pair to the overall rough-in width of a standard cabinet installation. Refer to the cabinet instruction manual included with your M / PL / Profiles to calculate overall sizes and wall openings for recessed combinations (Fig. 1). Note: Refer to Electrical Connections on pages 11-12 for Field wire locations. 2.

STEP 5 - SURFACE MOUNT INSTALLATION Note: Refer to Electrical Connections on page 11 for Field wire locations. For surface mounted installations, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the cabinet. Note: The side kits are attached to the outside of the Lights/cabinet configuration, which differ from the cabinet instruction manual as shown in the figure below.

STEP 6 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. D3 OR D4 MODELS Refer to the Dimmer recommendations on page 2. 1. Determine the wire access hole center point by the height and width of the light (Fig. 1). 2. Pull field wire through wire access hole on rear of the Light Case (Fig. 2). 3. Connect field wire as shown (Fig. 3). 4. Once the connections are made, go to page 13 for Final Assembly.

STEP 6 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. DV MODELS Refer to the Dimmer recommendations on page 2. Please note a 3-wire plus ground cable is required between fixture and switch box. 1. Determine the wire access hole center point by the height and width of the light (Fig. 1). 2. Pull field wire through wire access hole on rear of the Light Case (Fig. 2). 3. Connect field wire as shown (Fig. 3). 4. Once the connections are made, go to page 13 for Final Assembly.

STEP 7 - FINAL ASSEMBLY 1. Connect the LED Reflector Array by inserting the wires into the corresponding conductor connectors and closing the tab downward (Fig. 1). 2. Attach the LED Reflector Array to the case with the 2 Reflector Screws [SS278] (Fig. 2). Be careful not to pinch or damage the wires. CAUTION - RISK OF SHOCK 3. Install the Set Screws [203-1192] into the ends of the Front Lens. Install the first set screw so that it is flush with the top of the bar (Fig. 3A). This will be the top.

REMARQUES NOTAS Désemballer la lampe. Bien vérifier le carton pour récupérer toute la visserie et toutes les pièces détachées. Inspecter soigneusement l'appareil pour vérifier qu'il n'a pas subi de dommages. La lampe modulaire Profiles utilise un réflecteur à ensemble de DEL remplaçable. Desempaque la unidad de iluminación. Busque bien en la caja todos los herrajes y las piezas sueltas. Verifique con atención que la nueva unidad no esté dañada.

Ensamble sus unidades de iluminación y sus gabinetes sobre una superficie plana y nivelada. Pour l'éclairage monté sur le côté, utiliser les vis à tête cylindrique [203-1247] incluses et attacher les blocs de connexion, en travaillant à partir de l'intérieur de l'armoire (Fig. 1).
