31.6 Installing the optional optics
To install the long throw optics (or short throw optics) follow the steps:
1. Disconnect the DigitalSpot 7000 DT from power.
2. Remove the front cover of the fixture head (2) by loosening the 4
quarter-turn fasteners (1).
3. Remove the module of the glass cover (4) by loosening the three
quarter-turn fasteners (3).
4. Place the long (short) throw optic module (5) instead of the module of
the glass cover (4) and secure it by the 3 quarter-turn fasteners (6).
5. Fasten the plastic front cover back on the fixture head by means
of the 4 quarter-turn fasteners.
6. Select the option Long Throw Optics (for the long throw optics with
throw distance ration 2.7-3.5: 1) or Short Throw Optics (for the short
throw optics with throw distance ration 1.2-1.7:1) in the menu
"Personality" ("Personality""Projection presetting""Throw Optics
Mode).
