9. VIEWING THE DATA ON THE BID CHIP / KEY
When a BID chip / key is connected to the charger, you can view the following battery
data on the screen. This gives you an up-to-date overview of the exact condition of your
battery.
DISPLAY OF MAXIMUM CHARGED-IN CAPACITY
Display of the maximum capacity charged into the
battery to date. If the previous value is exceeded
during a subsequent charge process, the new value
is automatically stored.
DISPLAY OF MAXIMUM DISCHARGED CAPACITY
Display of the maximum capacity discharged from
the battery to date. If the previous value is exceed-
ed during a subsequent discharge process, the new
value is automatically stored.
DISPLAY OF CHARGE CYCLES
Display of the battery’s previous charge cycles. At
the end of a charge process the counter increments
by 1.
DISPLAY OF A USER-DEFINED DATE
Display of the date defined on the BID chip / key
(e.g. date of initial configuration)
SETTING THE TEMPORARY CHARGE CURRENT
Setting the temporary charge current (i.e. not stored
on the BID chip). This can be altered using the “+” /
“-” buttons or the “SELECT WHEEL”.
SETTING THE TEMPORARY DISCHARGE CURRENT
Setting the temporary discharge current (i.e. not
stored on the BID chip). This can be altered using
the “+” / “-” buttons or the “SELECT WHEEL”.
Note:
When a BID chip / key is connected to the charger, the value stored on the BID chip / key
is automatically loaded into the parameter “CHAR.CUR”. The same applies for the
“DISC.CUR” parameter.
