NOTES:
The
RKCBBT
works best
with
headsets
that
are utilizing BLUETOOTH" version
5.0
or
higher. Lower BLUETOOTH" versions
will
work
but
may take
more
time
to
connect,
or
a specific
order
of
connection. The included RKING940 has been
optimized
for
this radio.
Some brand's headsets use a voice
prompt
to
inform
you
of
the
headset mode,
and some
only
beep. Sometimes those headsets
that
use a voice
prompt
when
connecting
to
your
phone,
may
only
give
a beep
when
connecting
to
the
RKCBBT.
We have tested headsets
from
the
following
brands and
found
they
all
work
with
the
RKCBBT
but
may
behave
differently
than
their
own
manuals suggest. Blue
Parrot, Blue Tiger,
and
Plantronics.
