Set Brightness
1.
Press
MENU/OK until D-BRIG (Day-Brightness)
or
N-BRIG
(Night-Brightness) displays. The current brightness level displays
on
the
Channel Indicator
(1
- 15).
2.
Turn Channel Selector
to
cycle
through
the
brightness options.
The
LCD
reflects
the
brightness
options
as
you cycle
through
them.
3.
Press
MENU/OK;
the
radio stores
the
brightness level in
memory
and
the
next
menu
option
displays.
SetWXScan
1.
Press
MENU/OKseveral times until
WXSCAN
displays
on
the
Frequency Indicator and
the
current status
(ON,
OFF)
displays
on
the
Channel Indicator.
2.
Scanning
WX
channels begins
when
WXSCAN
is
turned
on,
or
ends
when
WXSCAN
is
turned
off.
Set Beep Tone
1.
Press
MENU/OKseveral times until
BEEP
displays
on
the
Frequency Indicator and
the
current status
(ON,
OFF)
displays
on
the
Channel Indicator.
2.
Turn Channel Selector
to
turn
Beep Tone on and off.
NOTE:
WX
Alert
tone
sounds even
if
Beep
tone
is
set
to
OFF.
OTHER
FEATURES
EMERGENCY CHANNEL
9/19
Press
the 9/19/NORM key
to
immediately receive emergency channels
9 and
19
and then return
to
the prior
CB
channel.
Each
press
of
9/19/
NORM changes the
CB
channel
as
follows: Normal mode
CB
channel ➔
Emergency
CH9
(CH9
displays)
➔
Emergency
CH19
(CH19
displays)
➔
Normal Mode
CB
channel (previous
CB
channel number displays).
Press
CB/PA/WXor MEM/SCAN, or turn the channel selector knob,
to
cancel emergency channel 9/19 mode.
