NOTE: You can clear channels saved
to
memory
but
you
cannot
add
any
new
channels
to
memory.

To
exit MEM Tune
Scan
mode, press
PTT,
9/19/NORM,
WEATHER,
or
CB/PA
MEMScan
1.
In
CB
mode, press MEM/SCAN three times.
MEM
and SCAN
display and
the
radio begins scanning
upward
through
the
channels saved
to
memory.
2.
If
the
radio detects a transmission
on
one
of
the
channels saved
to
memory,
it
will
stop
on
that
channel.
To
skip
the
channel
the
radio has
stopped
on,
turn
Channel Selector clockwise
to
move
to
the
next
channel
or
counter-clockwise
to
move
to
the
previous
channel. The radio continues scanning in
the
selected direction.
3.
To
cancel MEM
SCAN
mode, press
MEM
SCAN again
or
press PTT,
Wireless PTT,
9/19/NORM,
CB/PA/WX,
or
turn
VOX
on.
NOTE: You can clear channels saved
to
memory
but
you
cannot
add
any
new
channels
to
memory.

enter the
VOX

NOTE: The VOX Sensitivity
menu
opens automatically.
VOX Sensitivity
This menu cordinates
VOX
microphone sensitivity for
VOX
transmission. It
senses
audio and switches
to
transmit mode.
1.
Press
VOX;
V-SENS displays in
the
Frequency Indicator and
the
current level displays in
the
Channel Indicator.
2.
Rotate
the
Selector
knob
to
cycle
through
the
Vox Sensitivity
levels (Level 1
= High Sensitivity
through
Level 9 = Low
Sensitivity).
