Mode
CB
mode lets you transmit and
receive
on
up to
40
channels.
You
can
scan
channels
(in
CB
mode
and
Memory mode)
as
well
as
use
VOX
to
monitor
and
adjust transmission quality.
Scan
Mode
There
are
three scanning modes
in
the
RKCBBT:
■
All Channel
Scan.
The
radio
scans
channels until
it
receives
a signal.
It will move to the next channel
if
no signal
is
received after 3
seconds.
■
Memory
(MEM)
Mode.
Save
channels to memory; only those
channels
can
be
selected by the Channel
Selector.
■
Memory
Channel
Scan.
Only channels
saved
to memory
are
scanned.
Press
MEM/SCAN to
scan
the modes
as
follows:
CB
Mode

MEM
Tune
Mode
➔
All
Channel
Scan
Mode
➔
Memory
Channel
Scan
Mode
➔
CB
Mode.

Scan
1.
In
CB
mode,
press
MEM/SCAN once.
SCAN
displays.
2.
The radio begins scanning upward through the channels.
•
To
skip the channel the radio
has
stopped on, turn Channel
Selector
clockwise
to
move
to
the next channel or counter-
clockwise
to
move
to
the previous channel. The radio
continues scanning in the selected direction.
•
To
change
to
Memory Channel
Scan
mode,
press
MEM/SCAN
while in All Channel
Scan
mode
(see
page 20).
3.
To
exit All Channel
Scan
mode,
press
PTT,
9/19/NORM, WEATHE~
or
CB/PA
MEM
Tune
Scan
1.
In
CB
mode,
press
MEM/SCANtwice
MEM
displays.
2.
Use
the
SELECTOR
knob
to
scroll through channels
saved
to
memory.
