Pair
to
Bluetooth-enabled
device.
NOTE: When pairing, stay within range
of
the
Bluetooth-
enabled device you are pairing
to
(no more than 3 feet away).
• Verify
that
the
headset
is
turned
off.
•
Hold
the
ON/OFF key
for
approximately
5 seconds. Power On
sounds
and
the
status
light
flashes
between
RED
and
BLUE.
• Find
the
Bluetooth
settings
and
search
for
your
headset
on
the
device list. Select RKING940.
•
If
requirerd,
enter
PIN
code
0000
and
confirm.
•
If
pairing
is successful,
the
voice
prompt
"Connected"
sounds
and
the
status
LED
turns
BLUE
for
1 second.
Setting
Up
Wireless PTT
The Wireless
PTT
coordinates
with
the
Bluetooth headset
to
provide a
simple method
is
a wireless device
that
wraps around a finger (usully
the
index finger)
with
a
hook
and loop tape closure.
It
has
a
PTT
key in
the
center
of
the
front
face
that
can be pressed
to
talk
(see
page
10).
There
is
no
ON/OFF key
or
switch
for
the
wireless
PTT
key.
It
is
always
ON
until
the
battery
level drops.
When
it
drops,
the
status
LED
flashes
when
the
PTT
key
is
pressed.
Pairing Wireless PTT
to
Bluetooth Headset
1.
Power
off
the
RKCBBT
unit,
then
power
it
back on.
If
Bluetooth
is
on,
turn
it
off.
2.
Press
and
hold
BLUETOOTH
for
4 seconds. The
CB
enters
pairing
mode
and
the
blue
and
red
Bluetooth
LEDs
blink.
3.
Place
the
headset in
pairing
mode.
See
"Pair
to
Bluetooth-Enabled
Device"
operation
in previous section.
When
paired
to
the
headset,
the
CB
Bluetooth
LED
is
solid Red.
4.
Press
and
hold
the
wireless
PTT's
PTT
key.
When
pairing
is
complete,
the
Bluetooth
LED
is
solid blue.
