Adjust Squelch.
• Turn
SQUELCH
fully clockwise
so
only
strong signals can
get
through.
• Turn
SQUELCH
fully counterclockwise until you hear a hiss.
Everything gets
through
- noise, weak signals, and strong
signals.
• Turn
SQUELCH
back clockwise until
the
hiss stops. Only
clearer signals
get
through.
NOTE:
Set
SQUELCH
only when the radio
is
not receiving a
strong signal.

Turn
RF
Gain
to
set
RF
gain sensitivity.
6.
Press
MIC Gain
to
toggle
microphone sensitivity between High
and Low.

on=
High;
LED
off=
Low)

TRANSMITTING
Use
the 4-pin microphone, the Bluetooth headset, or the wireless
PTT
paired with the Bluetooth headset
to
communicate with other parties.
Using
the
4-Pin Microphone
Press
PTT
to
transmit.
Release
PTT
to listen to
responses.
Setting Up
the
RK940 Bluetooth Headset
NOTE:
This
RKCBBT
Owner's Manual provides
basic
installation, pairing, and
usage
procedures. Refer to the
RKING940 Owner's Guide for Bluetooth headset details.
1.
Charge
the
Bluetooth headset:
• Connect
the
charger
to
the
correct outlet. The status
LED
turns
RED.
• When fully charged (up
to
3 hours),
the
status
LED
turns
BLUE.
• Disconnect
the
headset from
the
charger and
the
charger
from
the
outlet. The headset
is
now
ready
to
use.
