ASSEMBLING WIRELESS PTT
The wireless
PTT
device coordinates with the Bluetooth headset
to
provide a simple method
to
initiate talking. It wraps around the gear
shift with
an
elastic hook and loop tape closure and
has
a
PTT
key in the
center
of
the front
face
that
can
be pressed
to
talk
(see
page 1
O).
1.
Holding
the
wireless
PTT
with
the
back side facing you, thread
the
elastic strap
through
the
wireless
PTT
from
the
front
to
the
back.
2.
Thread
the
elastic strap underneath
the
center
of
the
back panel
3.
Thread
the
elastic strap
through
the
wireless
PTT
from
back
to
front.
4.
Finally,
wrap
the
wireless
PTT
around
the
gear shift head and fasten.

There
is
no
ON/OFF key
or
switch
for
the
wireless
PTT
key.
It
is
always
ON.
When
the
battery level drops,
the
status
LED
flashes when
the
PTT
key
is
pressed.
NOTE:
When
fully charged, the
PTT
battery
lasts
a year.
USING
YOUR
RKCBBT
NOTE:
Be
sure
that
the
power source, antenna, and
microphone are properly connected before proceeding.
BASIC SETUP
1.
Turn
unit
on. Set
volume
to
a comfortable level.
2.
Select channel.
3.
Set noise limitations
as
desired
(ANL/NB).
