If a problem occurs, first refer to this troubleshooting guide. If this troubleshooting guide does not
resolve your problem, contact your dealer or Road Mate DVR service center ([e-mail])
■ Power related problems
 The battery cannot be recharged.
o Check if the car charger connection and make sure the car charger power indicator is
on.
o DO NOT recharge battery pack other than genuine Road Mate DVR DC car charger.
 The driving recorder does not operate even when the power button is pressed.
o Check if the car charger is well connected to cigarette lighter. The power indicator on
car charger should be lit on.
o If you use the driving recorder without power support for a prolonged period, recharge
the battery is needed.
■The driving recorder power turns off by itself.
 The motion detection feature is in effect.
o The motion detection feature is active, but your vehicle is not moving and/or there are
no moving objects in front of your driving recorder camera when it is activated. In this
case, you may press button then press button to record video.
■The driving recorder screen turns off by itself.
 The screen shut off feature is in effect.
o If you do not want screen shut off feature to take effect, set [Power Saving] to [Off].
■ Memory related problems.
 No videos can be recorded.
