Inmostcases,theblackwatervalveislargerthanthegreywatervalve.
Theblackwatertankshould only be drainedwhenitisat least⅔fullto flush
outallsolids.Evenwithfullhookupatthecampground,draintheblackwater
tankonlywhenitisatleast⅔full!
Todraintheholdingtanks:
- Removethesewercapfromthedrainpipe
- Attachthesewerhosetothedrainpipe
- Inserttheredcouplerendofthesewerhoseintothedumpholeatthecampground
- OpentheBLACKwatervalvenexttothehosefirst;ifapplicablepullthe2
nd
valveonthe
passengersideandletthetankcompletelydrain
- Closebothblackwatervalve
- Now open the GREY water valve and let the tank draincompletely. This helps to wash
outthesewerhose
- Closethegreywatervalve
- Whenallwaterhasdrained,disconnectthesewerhosefromthemotorhomeandwash
it out with clean water (do NOT insert the fresh water hose into the sewer hose‐
unsanitary!)
- Drainoutthesew erhosecompletelybeforestoringitinthemotorhome
- Re‐installthesewercaponthedrainpipe.Asewercap
isrequiredbylaw!

Mostcampgroundshaveadumpstation.Therearealsodumpstationsat
somerestareasandgasstations,justlookoutforthe thisroadsign.
If the monitorpanel showsthe tanks not tobe emptyafter dumping, fill
about2bucketsoffreshwater downthetoiletorkitchensinkdrainwith
some toilet chemical. While driving, the water will slosh around in the
tankandcleanoffthesensors.
