Fresh(potable)water

Themotorhomehastwosourcesoffreshwater:
‐Freshwatertank
‐Externalcitywaterhookup
Freshwaterisavailablefromtheon‐boardwatertankduring“drycamping”orwhiletraveling.
Wateristransportedtothefaucetsbymeansofthewaterpump.TheON/OFFswitchislocated
at the monitor panel (some models have additional switches in the bathroom and/or on the
outside).
The fresh water tank can be
filledthroughanopeningonthe
side of the motor home. On
some motor home models the
tank is filled thru the city water
hook‐uporasimilarconnection.
Mosttankswilloverflowtothegroundwhenfull.
Theremaybevalveseitheroutsideorinsidethevehiclewhichneedtobeopenedaccordingly.
Themonitorpanelshowsthefreshwaterlevelinthetank.
Formodelswithoutseparatewaterfill:
- Connectfreshwatersupplytocitywaterconnection(A)
- Turnthevalvestotheappropriatepositions
- Whenthefreshwatertankisfull,waterwi ll overflowto
theground
- Turnthevalvestosystemuse/normal
Ifyouarestayingatacampgroundwithcitywaterhook‐up,
thereisnoneedforuseofthewaterpump.
The water pressure at some campgrounds can be higher than
normal. It should not exceed 45 PSI – check with the campground
host.Topreventanyleaksinthemotorhome,close
the waterfaucet
atthecampsiteabout½‐waytoreducethewaterpressure.
To keep dirt and contamination out of the water hose never lay
eitherendofthehoseonthegroundorstickitintothesewerhose.
