Aer removing the p, blow out any oxide dust that may have formed in the p retaining area of the
barrel. Be careful to avoid geng this dust in your eyes. Replace the p and screw back the knurled nut
barrel assembly using only rm hand pressure to ghten. Pliers should only be used to ghten the nut to
avoid burning your ngers, but care should be taken not to over-ghten as this could damage the element.
GENERAL CLEANING
The outer cover of the iron and staon may be cleaned with a damp cloth using small amounts of liquid
detergent. Never submerse the unit in liquid or allow any liquid to enter the case of the staon. Never use
any solvent to clean the case.
IMPORTANT SERVICE NOTE:
There are no user serviceable parts inside the unit. Do not open the unit. If the fuse blows, only replace with
an equivalent fuse. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
If the iron or staon should become faulty or, for some reason not operate normally, the system should be
returned to the service department of your authorized dealer or service agent, or a similarly qualied
person, in order to avoid a hazard.
