4-8.Frequency/Duty Cycle(%) Measurement
1. Set the funcon switch to the Hz% Posion.
2. Insert the black test lead into the COM Input Jack and the red test lead into the Posive
Input Jacks.
4. Posion the black test probe p and red test probe p respecvely in the spots of the
circuit to be measured.
5. Read the Frequency in the display.
6. Press the MODE Buon (F2) again to indicate “%” on the display.
7. Read the % of duty cycle on the display.

4-9.Resistance Measurement
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, disconnect power to the unit under test and discharge
all capacitors before taking any resistance measurements, Remove the baeries and unplug
the line cords.
1. Set the funcon switch to the Ω CAP Posion.
2 .Insert the black test lead into the COM Input Jack and the red test lead into the Posive
Input Jacks.
4. Posion the black test probe p and red test probe p respecvely in the spots of the
circuit to be measured.
5. Read the Resistance in the display.
4-10.Connuity Check
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, disconnect power to the unit under test and discharge
all capacitors before taking any capacitance measurements. Remove the baeries and
unplug the line cords.
1. Set the funcon switch to the Ω CAP Posion.
2. Insert the black test lead into the COM Input Jack and the red test lead into the Posive
Input Jacks.
4. Press the MODE Buon (F2) again to indicate “Ω” and “ ” on the display.
5. Posion the black test probe p and red test probe p respecvely in the spots of the
circuit to be measured.
6. If the resistance is less than approximately 25Ω, the audible signal will sound. If the circuit
is open, the display will indicate “OL”.
