How to use, to attach a wire
Gather a solder iron (150 W maxi.), some (lead or lead-free) tin
solder wire, a stranded or solid wire with the specifications
below and a tool to strip the wire. Strip the end of the wire on 5
mm typically.
Strands.
Jacket(s).
Ø1.4 mm maxi.
1.50 mm² maxi.
(approximately AWG15).
Ø2.9 mm maxi..
5 mm typically
(between 3 mm and 6
mm).
Put the stripped end of the wire into the snap-on plastic part.Put
the stripped end of the wire into the hole of the metal part.
With the solder iron and the tin solder wire solder the wire on the
metal part.
Push the metal part towards the snap-on plastic part until they
clip. Check they are well locked.
