34.2 Connector Pinouts
TRS jacks of analog input / output
The stereo ¼" TRS jacks of the analog inputs and outputs are wired according to international
standards:
Tip = + (hot) Ring = (cold) Sleeve = GND
The servo balanced input and output circuitry allows to use monaural TS jacks (unbalanced)
with no loss in level. This is the same as when using a TRS-jack with ring connected to ground.
TRS Phones jack
The analog monitor output on the front is
accessible through a stereo ¼" TRS jack.
This allows a direct connection of head-
phones. In case the output should oper-
ate as Line output, an adapter TRS plug
to RCA phono plugs, or TRS plug to TS
plugs is required.
The pin assignment follows international
standards. The left channel is connected
to the tip, the right channel to the ring of
the TRS jack/plug.
Pin assignment of the 9-pin D-type connector, breakout cable SPDIF / AES
Note
: The digital breakout cable is identical to the one used in the DIGI96 series.
