Navigation
s Use this navigation device at your own risk.
s Use this navigation device only when it is safe to do so.
s Look at the display only when it is safe to do so.
s Traffic regulations always have priority over any instructions from
the navigation system.
s Follow navigation system instructions only when local regulations
and road traffic allow you do so.
s Make sure that the mount is securely mounted and properly
adjusted before each trip.
s Note: If you do not understand the spoken instructions or are
unsure of what to do next, refer to the navigation map on your
navigation device.
Installation
s Make sure that the mount does not impair the driver’s visibility.
s Do not attach the mount within the airbag deployment zone.
s When installing the mount, make sure that it does not pose a risk
in the event of an accident.
s Do not run cables directly next to safety-relevant devices and
power supplies.
s After installation, check all safety-relevant equipment.
s Connect the wall charger to a 120V or 240V outlet only.
s Connect the vehicle charger to a 12V outlet only.

s Do not use sharp-edged objects on the device touch screen.
s The device is not waterproof and is not protected against water
damage.
s Protect the device from extreme temperatures. Operating
temperature for the device is between 32 degrees F and
120 degrees F.
s Do not open the navigation device casing.
s Do not attempt to replace the battery. Contact Rand McNally
Customer Support with questions about the battery.
s Always follow local regulations when disposing of this device.
s Note: Make sure that there are no kinks in the cable and that
it will not be damaged by any sharp objects.
s Note: Use only a moist cloth to clean the navigation device.
s Note: Do not pull the cable to unplug the unit.
