MODULAR ETHERNET OVER FIBER SYSTEM
The RLH Modular Ethernet Over Fiber system is a multifunction
media converter that supports 10/100 Ethernet communications
over fiber optic cable. The plug-in design of this system enables up to
16 modules to be installed in a 2RU 19" rack mount. The rack
enclosure features dual hot swap power supplies for redundant
operation.
Fiber optics provide long distance Ethernet transmission capability up

o 24.8 Miles (40km).
The modules converts between 10/100BaseT(X) and 100Base FX
segments of the same network. The converter supports Link Fault
Pass-through (LFP) for easily tracing network link failures, and the LFP
function enhances the integrity and conformity of TP-to-Fiber linking

o make the network easier to maintain.
