Maintenance
This is a critical instrument for disaster-proof and safety.
To maintain the performance of the detector and improve the reliability of disaster-proof and safety, perform
a regular maintenance.
NOTE
To use the pyrolyzer unit (PLU-70), also refer to the individual operating manual.
8-1. Maintenance intervals and items
Daily maintenance: perform a maintenance before beginning to work.
Monthly maintenance: perform a maintenance on the alarm circuit (alarm test) once a month.
Regular maintenance: perform a maintenance once or more for every six months to maintain the
performance as a safety device.

Power supply
check
Verify that the power lamp lights up.
Concentration
display check
Verify that the concentration display
value is zero (or 20.9 vol% on the oxygen
deficiency meter). When the reading is
incorrect, perform the zero adjustment
after ensuring that no other gases exist
around it.
Flow rate
check
See the flow rate indicator to check for
abnormalities.
Filter check Check the dust filter for dust or clogging.
Alarm test Inspect the alarm circuit by using the
alarm test function.
Span
adjustment
Perform the sensitivity calibration by
using the calibration gas.
Gas alarm
check
Check the gas alarm by using the
calibration gas.
