Chapter 2: Description
Overview
This chapter describes the componen ts of the M2A transmitter. The transmitter is a 4 - 20
mA type detector head. It consists of the IR LEL detector, calibration adapter/splash
guard, terminal PCB, the M2A junction box, and the detector juncti on box. The two
junction bo x conf iguration is intended for situations where the detector needs to be
installed at an inaccessible locatio n. The de tector junction box can be installed at the
inaccessible location and th e M2A junctio n box can be installed in a mo re readily
accessible area.
External Description
This section describes the junc tion boxes and all external components of the M2A
transmitter.
