In this configuration, all of the audio loops are connected in series to switch 8 different pedals. The audio buffer is connected
before the pedals, and the “From Front” jack is used, with the guitar plugged into the RG-16’s front panel input.
This example shows how you can use the RG-16 in a system where there are effects connected to the amp’s input and effects in
the amp’s effects loop. The output of the first four loops is connected to the amp’s input, and loops 5 and 6 are connected to the
amp’s effects loop. The RG-16’s MIDI Thru is used to pass MIDI commands to the rack effect units, allowing one MIDI controller to
control the entire rig.
