3.3.2 Installing the Chassis
Install the RS 8000/8600 in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. The RS chassis is equipped with front-mounting
brackets. Figure 3-1 shows an example of how to install an RS 8600 chassis in an equipment rack.

Warning
Never attempt to rack mount the RS chassis unaided. Ask an assistant to help
you hold the chassis.
