The SCHEDULED SYSTEM SETPOINT is a menu of programmable set point setbacks which give the
user the ability to reduce the system temperatures during times which a building is not being
occupiedandtheusuallevelofcomfort isnotneeded.Scheduledsetbackcanbeprovidesignificant
energy saving and
should be used as much as possible. The OnTrac®
has four separate schedules
whichareexplainedbelow.
SETBACKSCHEDULE1&2functionidenticallyandcanbeuse dtogethertocreateaseamless
setbackprogram.
o The first parameter of your program should be the DAY OF THE WEEK. The day of
the week is described by a number
range of (1 to 7) representing Sunday to
Saturday.Choosethedayoftheweekyoursetbackwilloccurandenterithere.
o The START HOUR is described
by the 24 hour clock; 17hrs is
5:00pm. Choose the hour of
thedayyour setbackwill begin
andenterit
here.
o TheENDHOURisdescribedby
the 24 hour clock; 16hrs is
4:00pm. Choose the hour of
the day your setback will end
and enter it here. If the
number 25 is entere d for this
parameter this schedule will
bedisabled.
o SETBACKisthetemperature in°Fyou
wish toreducethesystemsetpoint. Enterit
here.
o Example:UsingthenumbershownherewewillillustratetheuseofSchedule1&2.
Beginning Wednesday at 4:00pm and end at the end of the day; 12:00pm, the
systemsetpointwillbereducedby20°F.In
ordertocontinuethisschedulewepick
up Thursday morning at 12:01am with the same setback and end at 5:00am the
samemorning.
