MERCURY GLASS OWL

I. OPERATION

1. Open and remove the owl from packaging.

2. Open the battery cover on the bottom of the item and insert 3 * AA batteries into the battery

compartment. Make sure to align “+” and “-” as marked inside the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery cover and slide the switch to either the “TIMER” or “ON” position and the

lights will come on.

4. If the switch has been set to the “TIMER” position, the unit will stay lit for 4 hours and then

automatically shut off. The unit will restart 20 hours later.

II. TROUBLE SHOOTING

Switch set to “Timer”

the 18-hour cycle. To start

immediately, move the timer

switch to “OFF” and then to

“ON” or “TIMER”.

registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.

3. The item should be kept away from water and moisture at all times.

4. The item is breakable and should be handled by adults only. If the glass breaks, dispose of item

immediately

Battery Use and Disposal:

1. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.

2. Improper handling/disposal of batteries may cause batteries to explode or leak.

3. Please recycle or dispose of batteries according to State and Federal regulations.
