~ Main Power Switch and Sleep Key
The Main Power Switch is used to turn on or off the whole printer. If the printer is not used for a long time, for example due
to consecutive holidays, turn off the Main Power Switch.
Turn on or off the Sleep key when starting or terminating daily work. If this unit is not used for a certain time with the Sleep
Key on, this unit automatically enters the sleep mode for suppressing power consumption. "5.8 Initial Setting")p.2-45

• When Turning on the Power:
Turn on the Main Power Switch and then press the Sleep Key.
• When Turning off the Power:
Press and hold down the Sleep Key more than approximately one second and turn off the Main Power
Switch after message "Shutting Down" on the message display disappears.
When turning on the Main Power Switch again, wait more than 10 seconds.

z Power ONOFF status can be checked with the colour of the Sleep Key.
