to make a true to life recreation of the real aircraft. For instance, when we model
the engine and its performance, we use mathematical formulas to recreate the
behavior and operation of the engine, such as the operation of each cylinder and
valve, fuel temperature, air and fuel mixture, ignition timing advance etc.
In addition to making the plane appear realistic, we also create a detailed damage
model for the aircraft which allows all of these parts and systems to be damaged
in combat, crashes or by simply ying the aircraft outside of its intended
performance envelope. When a part is damaged, our system dynamically alters
the overall eect on aircraft performance and aerodynamics. The damaged part
then interacts with the ight environment in its own independent way. This is
what we call a “progressive” damage system and appears to be very realistic when
ying in-game.
From time to time we oer new aircraft or other content for sale on the ocial
Rise of Flight website. Here’s how you can purchase them.
1. Log into the ocial Rise of Flight website using your login and password
from your Player Account.
2. Click on the Store button.
3. Browse the available aircraft or any other content we have for sale.
4. Select which aircraft or content you wish to buy and choose a convenient
way to pay.
5. Follow the checkout process for paying via Credit Card or PayPal.
6. Once you have purchased the product, start Rise of Flight and log into
your Player Account.
7. By logging into your Player Account you then unlock the purchased
content in your copy of the game.
8. Go y that new aircraft in your hangar!
Warning: If the aircraft does not appear in your yable hangar after you have followed
the steps above, but the money had been deducted from your account, please
immediately contact us and we will make all eorts x it.
