ROKONET LIMITED WARRANTY Rokonet Electronics, Ltd. and its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Seller") warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 6 years from the date of production. Because Seller does not install or connect the product and because the product may be used in conjunction with products not manufactured by the Seller, Seller can not guarantee the performance of the security system which uses this product. Sellers obligation and liability under this warranty is expressly limited to repairing and replacing, at Sellers option, within a reasonable time after the date of delivery, any product not meeting the specifications. Seller makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, and makes no warranty of merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose. In no case shall seller be liable for any consequential or incidental damages for breach of this or any other warranty, expressed or implied, or upon any other basis of liability whatsoever. Sellers obligation under this warranty shall not include any transportation charges or costs of installation or any liability for direct, indirect, or consequential damages or delay. Seller does not represent that its product may not be compromised or circumvented; that the product will prevent any personal; injury or property loss by burglary, robbery, fire or otherwise; or that the product will in all cases provide adequate warning or protection. Buyer understands that a properly installed and maintained alarm may only reduce the risk of burglary, robbery or fire without warning, but is not insurance or a guaranty that such will not occur or that there will be no personal injury or property loss as a result. Consequently seller shall have no liability for any personal injury, property damage or loss based on a claim that the product fails to give warning. However, if seller is held liable, whether directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage arising from under this limited warranty or otherwise, regardless of cause or origin, sellers maximum liability shall not in any case exceed the purchase price of the product, which shall be complete and exclusive remedy against seller. No employee or representative of Seller is authorized to change this warranty in any way or grant any other warranty. WARNING: This product should be tested at least once a week.
DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL El Nova 50 es un transmisor portátil que se usa con el Receptor Programable Rokonet para dar señales de emergencia Cada unidad viene programada desde la fábrica con uno de 16 millones de codigos posibles eliminando asi la necesidad de Switches DIP Esta unidad usa bateria alcalina de 12 voltios y se transporta facilmente en el cuerpo usando una cadena de metal para el cuello que viene incluida con la unidad.
Comunicación entre el Nova 50 y Receptor Primeramente, el Nova 50 debe identificarse al receptor programando su código a la memoria del receptor. Esto se logra por intermedio de los siguientes pasos: 1.Siga el procedimiento del módulo de
WRITE descrito en el Manual de Instalación y Operación del Receptor Mande un mensaje de WRITE
oprimiendo el botón del transmisor por o menos 3 segundos hasta que el LED rojo del receptor indique aceptar la nueva dirección.
2.Prosiga con el procedimiento
para chequear la comunicación
especificado en el Manual del Receptor.
3.Al terminar ponga el receptor en el
módulo Normal.
Prueba De Bateria Baja La prueba de la bateria se hace ca da vez que se oprima el botón del transmisor. Si la bateria está baja el LED rojo comenzará a destellar indicando que la bateria de 12 voltios debe ser reemplazada. A la misma vez, un mensaje de "Bateria Baja" es mendado al Receptor Programable. La bateria se puede cambiar fácilmente por intermedio de los siguientes pasos (ver figura 1):
Operación Standard Para operar el Nova 50 oprima el botón del transmisor hasta que el LED rojo del transmisor se prenda. El LED permanecerá prendido siempre y cuando el botón se mantenga oprimido. Nota: Con el propósito de prolongar la
duración de la bateria, las unidades
se han diseñado para repetir su
mensaje solo por 30 segundos en que
el botón sea oprimido continuamente.

millions de codes possibles, sélectionnés au hasard, qui évite le recours à la personnalisation par sélection de micro- interrupteurs. NOVA 50 fonctionne à l'aide d'une pile de 12 volts et est très simple à porter grâce à sa chaîne de métal fournie avec l'appareil.
CONNEXION DE NOVA 50 AU RECEPTEUR ROKONET Le NOVA 50 doit tout d'abord s'identifier au système du récepteur en inscrivant son message codé dans la mémoire d'adresses du récepteur. Cette connexion se réalise en suivant attentivement les différentes instructions: 1.Suivre la procédure Mode Adressage
(WRITE MODE) décrite dans la notice d'installation du récepteur. Envoyer un message Adressage (WRITE) en pressant le bouton émetteur au moins 3 secondes jusqu'à ce que le récepteur indique la reconnaissance de la nouvelle adresse.
2.Suivre la procédure de vérification de
connexion dans la notice d'installation
du récepteur pour chaque nouvelle adresse.
3.Positionner le récepteur sur le MODE
NORMAL.
FONCTIONNEMENT STANDARD Pour faire fonctionner NOVA 50 appuyer sur le bouton émetteur jusqu'à l'apparition de la lumière rouge sur la face avant de
ALLGEMEINE BESCHREIBUNG Der NOVA 50 ist ein Umhänge-Sender der im Zusammenhang mit ROKONET's programmierbaren Empfänger eingesetzt wird um ein Notfall-Signal zu senden. Jedes Gerät ist werkseitig mit einem von über 16 Mio. pseudozufällig wählbaren Codes programmiert. Dies macht DIP- Schalter überflüssig.
Das Gerät wird mit einer 12V-Standard- Batterie betrieben und kann leicht mit der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Metall- Halskette am Körper getragen werden.
NOVA 50 KOMMUNIKATIONS- SETUP MIT EMPFÄNGER Der NOVA 50 muß sich durch die Übertragung einer codierten Nachricht in den Adressenspeicher des Empfängers selbst identifizieren. Dies wird durch die
Ausführung folgender Schritte erreicht: 1. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen zum
Adressmodus in der Installations- und Betriebsanweisung des Empfängers. Senden Sie durch Drücken des Sendeknopfes für mindestens 3 Sekunden ein Adressensignal bis der Empfänger die Aufnahme der neuen Adresse anzeigt.
2. Folgen Sie der Communication-Check-
Anleitung, wie sie in der Betriebsanleitung des Empfängers
beschrieben ist
3. Setzen Sie den Empfänger auf
Normalmodus.
STANDARDBETRIEB Um den NOVA 50 zu betreiben, drücken Sie den Sendeknopf bis die rote LED des Senders leuchtet. Die LED leuchtet solange wie der Sendeknopf gedrückt wird. Hinweis: Um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern, ist das Gerät so konzipiert,
daß das Signal nur alle 30 Sekunden übertragen wird, wenn der Sendeknopf ständig gedrückt bleibt.
LOW-BATTERY-TEST Mit jeder Betätigung des Sendeknopfes wird ein Batterietest durchgeführt. Falls die Batterie schwach ist, blinkt die LED um anzuzeigen, daß die 12V-Batterie gewechselt werden muß. Eine Low-Battery-Meldung wird auch an den programmierbaren Empfänger
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The NOVA 50 is a Pendant Transmitter used with Rokonet’s Programmable Receiver to signal emergency situations. Each unit is preset at the factory by one of more then 16 million pseudo randomly selected possible codes, thus eliminating the need for DIP switches. The unit is powered by a standard 12-volt battery and is easily carried on the body via a metal necklace supplied with the unit.
NOVA 50 to RECEIVER COMMUNICATION SETUP The NOVA 50 must initially identify itself to the system’s receiver by writing its coded message into the receiver’s address memory. This is accomplished by perforing the following steps: 1.Follow the WRITE MODE procedure
described in the Receiver Installation and Operation Manual. Send a WRITE message by pressing the transmitter
button for at least 3 seconds until the receiver indicates acceptance of the new address.
2.Follow the Communication Check
procedure described in the Receiver Manual.
3.Set the receiver to Normal Mode.
STANDARD OPERATION To operate the NOVA 50 press the Transmitter button until the red LED on
the Transmitter lights. The LED will remain lit for as long as the button is pressed. Note: In order to save battery life the units are designed to repeat their message for only 30 seconds if a button remains continuously pressed.
LOW BATTERY TEST A battery test is performed each time the transmitter’s pushbutton is pressed. If the
battery is low the red LED will start to blink, indicating that the 12-volt battery must be replaced. A “Low Battery” message is also sent to the Programmable Receiver.

COME PROGRAMMARE NOVA 50 PER LA RICEZIONE DELLE COMUNICAZIONI Il NOVA 50 deva identificarsi inizialmente al ricevitore del sistema tramite la digitazione di un messaggio codificato nella. memoria degli indirzzi del ricevitore. Per effettuare tale operazione osservate i
seguenti passi. 1.Seguite la procedura Digitare Messaggio
descntta nel manuale dell Installazione è Operazione del ricevitore Inviate un messaggio premendo il tasto del trasmettitore per almeno 3 secondi finchè il ricevitore confermera che il nuovo indirizzo è stato accettato.
2. Seguite la procedura del Controllo della
Comunicazione descntta nel Manuale del Ricevitore.
3.Settate il Ricevitore sulla Funzione Normale
OPERAZIONE STANDARD Per attivare il NOVA 50, premete l’interruttore del Trasmettitore fino all’ accensione del LED rosso del Trasmettitore. Il LED rimarrà acceso fintanto chè verrà premuto l’interrutore. Nota: Per allungare la durata della
batteria, i dispositivi sono stati
progettati per ripetere i messaggi per
soli 30 secondi nel caso chè un
interrutore rimanga continuamente
premuto.
TEST DELLA BATTERIA Ogni qualvolta il pulsante del trasmettitore è premuto, viene effettuato automaticamente il test della batteria Se la battena è scarica il LED rosso inizierà a lampeggiare indicando che la batteria a 12V deva essera sostituita. Un messaggio “Batteria Scarica” sarà
