Please fit wire or oleo legs to suit your model. The pivot blocks
have recessed grub screws to pinch the wire. They will be in the
face or side of the block itself or in the brass bush in the side of
the main body. It varies from unit to unit. Make sure you have
flats on the wire for the grubs screws to bite against. They will not
stop the leg rotating if only pinching on the circumference.
Mount your retract unit on beams that are flat/parallel so that
the unit is not twisted in any way when screwed down. A twisted
body will draw more current.
Each unit has over-current protection. If the leg is stopped in any
way during movement, or the load is too high, it will stop at that
point of the movement cycle to prevent burning the motor. Cycle
the gear in the opposite direction to reset. Bear in mind this will
happen to an individual leg only, not all at the same time. The
sensing is on each unit and independent.
