Drilling Flue Hole
Ensure that there are no gas or water lines, or
electrical circuits in the wall location where the flue
hole is to be drilled.
Drill the flue hole using a 3 1/8 inch (80 mm) drill.
The center of the hole must be located anywhere
within the shaded area, unless extension kits are
used. See diagram.
For weatherboard walls, drill through the center of
the weatherboard from the outside first and then
through the plasterboard. A template is provided.

For installation without using extension kits, the
configuration of the flue manifold, air intake hose, and
exhaust slide pipe should be as shown when
installation is completed.
