Vent Extension Installation Guidelines
INSTALLING THE EXHAUST EXTENSION
1. The exhaust is
connected between
the bent pipe at the
rear of the furnace
and the exhaust
port on the flue
manifold.
2. Connect exhaust
pipes with other
straight pipes or
bends (including
the furnace
exhaust) by fitting
the male end into
the female end.
3. If needed, extend
the telescopic
portion of the
extension to the
desired length. Do
not extend beyond
the red line.

NOTE: Never cut the

4. Use pipe stopper A to clamp the connection of two pipes.
5. Use pipe stopper B to
secure the length of the
telescopic pipe.
