A manual gas control valve is placed in the gas line to the water heater.
□
Check the gas lines and connections for leaks.
□
Confirm that the gas inlet pressure is within limits.
□
Confirm that the water heater is rated for the gas type supplied.
□
Confirm that the electricity is supplied from a 120 VAC, 60 Hz power source and is in a properly
grounded circuit.
□
Confirm that an extension cord or an adapter plug has NOT been used with the water
heater.
