Duration Trigger (Option)
In duration trigger, the instrument identifies a trigger condition by looking for the
duration of a specified pattern. This pattern is a logical “AND” combination of the two
channels. Each channel can have a value of high (H), low (L) or don’t care (X). The
instrument triggers when the duration (△T) of this pattern meets the preset time, as
shown in the figure below.

Trigger Type:
Press Type to open the trigger type list. Rotate and press down to select
“Duration”. At this point, the trigger setting information as shown in the figure below
is displayed at the upper right corner of the screen. For example,
.
The trigger type is duration trigger; the trigger source is CH1; the trigger level is 0.00
V.
Source Selection:
Press Source to open the signal source list and select CH1, CH2 or any channel of
D0-D15. For the details, please refer to the introduction in “
Trigger Source”. The
current trigger source is displayed at the upper right corner of the screen.
Pattern Setting:
Press Code to set the pattern of the current channel. At this point, the pattern
setting area (as shown in the figure below) is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
: set the pattern of the channel selected to “H”, namely the voltage level is
higher than the threshold level of the channel.
