Channel Configuration When Using External DMM
For the multiplexer channels, if the DMM module is not inserted or enabled, you can
connect an external DMM to realize scan and measurement function (for the
connection method, please refer to ”To Connect Instruments
”).
Press Config  Edit  New to enter into the channel configuration guide which
only contains measurement configuration and advanced configuration.
1 Measurement Configuration
After entering into the channel configuration guide, you can select desired
channel number and use the up/down direction keys to select the Mode item
and then use the left/right direction keys to select desired connection mode.
 SCAN: 2-wire connection mode which is supported by all the multiplexer
channels.
 SCAN_4W: 4-wire connection mode which is supported by the first 16
channels of MC3132 and MC3232 and the first 10 channels of MC3120 and
MC3324.
2 Advanced Configuration
Press Next to enter the advance configuration interface and set the channel
delay time according to “
Channel Delay”.
Explanation:
In this case, M300 only control the connection mode (2-wire or 4-wire) and the
delay time of the channels in the scan list. The function and parameters for each
channel are determined by the external DMM.
