To Configure the Instruments
1 To configure the external DMM
Set the external DMM to external trigger mode and triggering at the falling edge
of the external trigger signal.
2 To configure the M300
(1) To configure the scan list parameters
Press Config to set the scan cycles, trigger mode, advanced source type,
etc.
Based on the connection in Figure 3-1, external trigger mode can not be
selected, advanced source should be set to “external” and the edge type
must be set to “Falling”.
Note:
 External trigger mode and external advanced source can not be
selected at the same time.
 Manual trigger mode and “Single” advanced source can not be selected
at the same time.
 When Utility  System  Speed selects “High”, users can select
“Single” but the operation will be invalid.
(2) To configure channels to the scan list
Press Config  Edit  New to enter into the channel configuration guide.
You can select desired channel number and set its scan mode and then
press Next to enter into the advanced setting interface in which you can set
the channel delay time.
 SCAN: 2-wire connection mode which is supported by all the
multiplexer channels.
 SCAN_4W: 4-wire connection mode which is supported by the first 16
channels of MC3132 and MC3232 and the first 10 channels of MC3120
and MC3324.
Configure other channels into the scan list using the same mothod.
