TRIGger:EDGE
Syntax TRIGger:EDGE {RISing|FALLing}
TRIGger:EDGE?
Description Set the edge type of the external trigger input signal when the instrument initiate a trigger
in the external trigger mode.

Explanation When the DMM module is disabled (refer to the INSTrument:DMM command) or is not
installed, use the
ROUTe:CHANnel:ADVance:EDGE command to set the edge type in
the external trigger. In this case, using this command to set the edge type in the
external trigger will generate an error.
The pulse width of the external trigger input signal must be greater than or equal to
2μs and the pulse period must be greater than 100μs.
The instrument is set to initiate the trigger on the rising edge type of the external
trigger input signal in the external trigger mode after a Factory Reset (send the
*RST
command). An Instrument Preset (send the
SYSTem:PRESet command) or Card Reset
(send the SYSTem:CPON command) does not affect the setting.

Format
The query returns RIS or FALL.
