TRIGger:EDGE
Syntax TRIGger:EDGE {RISing|FALLing}
TRIGger:EDGE?
Description Set the edge type of the external trigger input signal when the instrument initiate a trigger
in the external trigger mode.

Explanation  When the DMM module is disabled (refer to the INSTrument:DMM command) or is not
installed, use the
ROUTe:CHANnel:ADVance:EDGE command to set the edge type in
the external trigger. In this case, using this command to set the edge type in the
external trigger will generate an error.
 The pulse width of the external trigger input signal must be greater than or equal to
2μs and the pulse period must be greater than 100μs.
 The instrument is set to initiate the trigger on the rising edge type of the external
trigger input signal in the external trigger mode after a Factory Reset (send the
*RST
command). An Instrument Preset (send the
SYSTem:PRESet command) or Card Reset
(send the SYSTem:CPON command) does not affect the setting.

Format
The query returns RIS or FALL.
