MEMory:STATe:DELete
Syntax
MEMory:STATe:DELete <location>
Description
Delete the contents of the measurement configuration file in the specified storage location.

Explanation If you have deleted the contents of the measurement configuration file in the specified
storage location and then send the
*RCL command to racall the contants of this file to
overwrite the current measurement configuration, an error will be generated.
This command deletes the contents of the measurement configuration file in the
specified storage location, but does not delete the file.
This command can only delete the file created by the
*SAV command. It can not
delete the file created by the
MEMory:SAVE:CONFig command.
Sending this command will generate an error if the specified file dose not exist
(Sending the
SYSTem:SECurity[:IMMediate] command will delete all the files in the
memory). You can send the
*SAV command to create the measurement configuration
file in the specified storage location.
A Factory Reset (the
*RST command) does not affect the measurement configuration
files in the specified storage location. Sending the
SYSTem:SECurity[:IMMediate]
command will delete all the measurement configuration files in the memory.
