Chapter 3 Arbitrary Waveform Output
DG4000 can output the built-in waveforms and user-defined arbitrary waveforms
from a single channel or from two channels at the same time. The 150 kinds of
built-in waveforms are stored in the internal non-volatile memory. The
user-defined arbitrary waveforms can contain 2 to 16384 (16k) data points,
namely 2pts to 16kpts. Users can edit the user-defined arbitrary waveforms on the
instrument or edit the arbitrary waveforms via the PC software and then download
them to the instrument. Users can also store the user-defined arbitrary waveforms
to the internal non-volatile memory or external memory (USB storage device) of
the instrument and recall them when necessary.
This chapter introduces how to configure the generator to output arbitrary
waveforms.
