Chapter 11 Remote Control
DG4000 can be controlled remotely through the following two methods.
User-defined programming
Users can program and control DG4000 by using the SCPI (Standard Commands
for Programmable Instruments) commands. For more information about the
commands and programming, refer to the
DG4000 Programming Guide .
Use PC software
Users can use the PC software to send commands to remotely control DG4000.
Ultra Sigma of RIGOL is recommended. You can acquire Ultra Sigma from the
resource CD in the standard accessories or download the latest version from
RIGOL official website (
www.rigol.com).
DG4000 can communicate with PC through USB and LAN instrument buses. This
chapter will give a detailed introduction of how to use Ultra Sigma to control
DG4000 remotely through various interfaces.
