Seamless Interconnection with Oscilloscope
DG4000 can be seamlessly interconnected with RIGOL DS1000E, DS6000,
MSO/DS4000, MSO/DS2000 and MSO/DS1000Z series digital oscilloscopes to
rebuild and output the waveform data sampled by the oscilloscope losslessly. The
connection methods between the instruments are as shown in the figure below.
Operation Steps:
1. Display the signal under test on the screen of oscilloscope 1 stably.
2. Connect the USB Host interface of DG4000 with the USB Device interface of
oscilloscope 1 using a USB cable. At this point, oscilloscope 1 enters remote
mode automatically.
3. Use DG4000 to read the signal under test currently inputted into oscilloscope
1.
Press Store at the front panel of DG4000 to enter the store and recall
interface or press Arb Select Wform Stored Wforms at the front
panel of DG4000 to enter the store and recall interface. At this point, the
model identifier of oscilloscope 1 is displayed in the "Directory Display
Area".
Set Browser of DG4000 as "Dir" and use the knob to move the cursor
onto the model identifier of oscilloscope 1. At this point, all the channels
and the on/off status of each channel of oscilloscope 1 are displayed in
the "File/Folder Display Area" of DG4000.
Set Browser of DG4000 as "File" and move the cursor to the desired
channel; then press Read. At this point, oscilloscope 1 enters the stop
state automatically. DG4000 will automatically switch to the arbitrary
DG4000
