[SERVICES]
UPService, our Technical Assistance
organization, comprises highly specialized
technicians able to provide valid, reliable and
competent technical support and an efficient
after-sales service.
UPService provides Customers with the
following services:
a CALL CENTER with toll-free number for direct
contact with the UPService organization.
CALL CENTER personnel are always ready to
provide customers with advice regarding the
most suitable product for their applications
and also to provide consultancy regarding
equipment installation and maintenance .
FAST & NEW the new, free and immediate UPS
assistance service. The FAST & NEW service is
provided for UPS with a maximum power of up
to 4000VA and within the 24-month warranty
period.
In the case of faults or failures, UPService
restores a UPS to operation, for which the
remaining warranty period will continue.
The only charge for the Customer is that of
forwarding the correctly packaged faulty UPS.
FAST & READY is a service offered at the
customer’s site, and is for large-size UPS that
cannot be transported, both under warranty
or after the end of the warranty period.
Fast repairs are also guaranteed by the state-
of-the-art technology of the equipment and
high level professional standards of the
UPService personnel and in the Authorized
Assistance Centers located all over Italy.
UPService guarantees that spare parts will be
replaced with only original products that have
been tested and updated in order to preserve
the original safety, reliability and quality
characteristics of the UPS in time.
on request, UPService can also carry out
PRODUCT START-UP providing assistance
during initial start-up and also instructing
personnel. The Technical Assistance
service can also make preliminary surveys
to verify suitability of the installation
site, analyze possible problems with the
site, disconnect or relocate equipment.
It is specifically recommended that all UPS
with panel type installation be put into
service by the technical assistance
service.
UPService offers Customers the possibility
of stipulating MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS in
order to minimize the risks and costs of
UPS faults. The various types of contract
comprise formulas that range from a
simple periodic inspection up to total
solutions including repairs, replacement
of spare parts and periodic visits.
the new TELEGUARD TELEASSISTANCE service
permits round-the-clock remote supervision of
equipment. The intelligence of products
(digital control) and their ability to
communicate via modem means that UPService
can interrogate the UPS under contract
periodically and check all their past and
present functioning data, sending a report to
the customer, fully automatically. The UPS can
also call UPService and report alarms or faults.
This means that the user does not have to
supervise the equipment and also promotes
prompt action on the part of the assistance
service according to the maintenance
contract.
UPService organizes regular TECHNICAL
TRAINING COURSES for technical operators.
