(4) Reassembly of the armature unit
(a) Mounting the Motor Spacer [30]
Mount the Motor Spacer [30] to the Armature and Pinion Set [31]. If it is too hard to mount, support the
Motor Spacer [30] and press down the rear end of the armature shaft of the Armature and Pinion Set [31]
with a hand press.
(b) Mounting the Magnet [32]
Mount the Magnet [32] to the Armature and Pinion Set [31] so that the notch of the Magnet [32] faces the
rear of the Armature and Pinion Set [31]. Hold each part securely as the Armature and Pinion Set [31]
may be attracted to the Magnet [32] by the strong magnetic force (see Fig. 13).
NOTE: Be careful that the ball bearing and the washer at the rear of the Armature and Pinion Set
[31] may come off due to the magnetic force of the Magnet [32].
Pay attention to the mounting direction of the Ring Gear [16], Slide Ring Gear [23], Pinion (C) [24] and Pinion
(B) [26] (see Fig. 8).
Mount the Front Case [12] to the Rear Case [20] so that the concave portion of the Front Case [12] aligns
with the protrusion of the Rear Case [20] (see Fig. 15).
Fit the protrusion of Washer (B) [29] in the concave portion of the Rear Case [20] and turn it clockwise viewing
from the armature until it contacts the Rear Case [20] (see Fig. 12).
