4. Attach the ferrite core to the LAN cable, and connect the LAN cable to the machine.
5. Connect the USB cable to the USB connector.
6. Make sure that the machine can recognize this option (see ‘Check All Connections’ at the
end of this section).
2.8.8 IPDS UNIT TYPE 5210 (D571)
Installation Procedure
1. Remove the SD slot cover [A] ( x 1).
2. Install the IPDS card [B] in SD slot 2 (lower slot).
3. Plug in the machine, and then turn on the machine.
4. Enter the SP mode, and then select SP5-873-001 "Move Exec".
5. Follow the messages shown on the operation panel.
6. Turn the main switch off.
7. Remove the IPDS card from SD slot 2 (lower slot).
 Keep the IPDS card in a safe place after you copy the application program from one
card to another card.
8. Turn the main switch on.
9. Check that the application programs run normally.
10. Attach the SD slot cover [A] (
x 1).
