5.1 LASER UNIT/MAIN SCAN SYNCHRONIZATION DETECTOR

WARNING
Turn off the main switch and unplug the machine before attempting
any of the procedures in this section. Laser beams can seriously
damage your eyes.
1. Remove the copy tray.
2. Remove the main scan synchronizing detector [A].
3. Disconnect the optical fiber cable [B].
4. Remove the laser unit (4 screws and 1 connector).
