Carefully pull out the toner car-
tridge for the color indicated on
the panel display.
Important
❒ Pull the toner cartridge out
slowly and carefully to prevent
spilling of toner.
Note
❒ Place the old toner cartridge on
paper or some other material to
avoid making the area you are
working dirty with toner.

Hold the new toner cartridge and
shake it well, about 3 to 4 times, as
shown in the illustration.

Remove the tape from the new
toner cartridge and remove the
protective cover.
Important
❒ Once the protective cover is re-
moved, toner can spill from the
cartridge easily. Take care to
avoid subjecting the toner car-
tridge to vibration and impact
after removing the protective
cover.

Slowly and carefully slide the
new toner cartridge into the print-
er.
Important
❒ Do not push the toner cartridge
with force. If you do, the printer
might be damaged. If it sticks,
pull it out and try again.
