Changing the starting digit of file name serial numbers
A single-page file is assigned a serial number after the file name. The starting
number of this serial number can be changed as follows:
A Press [File Name / Type].
B Press [Change] to the right of the entry box.
C Using the number keys, enter the starting digit of the serial number.
D Press the {q} key.
E Press [OK].
Note
❒ You can change the starting digit only if other than [Single Page] is selected
as the file type.
❒ You can change the number of digits in the serial number. Change the
number under [Scanner Features], [No. of Digits for Single Page Files]. You can
select 4 or 8. For details, see “Send Settings”, General Settings Guide.
