3.4 NETWORK INTERFACE BOARD
3.4.1 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION
Unplug the copier power cord before starting the following procedure.
NOTE:
If installing this network interface board and the printer controller (B358) at
the same time, skip step 1.
1. Remove the plate [A] (4 screws) and the printer controller [B] (2 screws).
2. Attach two spacers [C] to the printer controller (1 screw each).
3. Remove the cover bracket [D] (2 screws).
4. Install the network interface board [E] using the 2 screws [F] in the accessory
box and the 2 screws [G] that were used for the cover bracket [D].
5. Connect the cable [H] to both the network interface board and the printer
controller.
6. Install the printer controller into the mainframe (refer to the Printer Controller
Installation Procedure).
7. Reattach the plate [A].
8. Attach the core [I] to the network (STP) cable as shown.
NOTE:
The STP cable should be coiled twice inside the core as shown.
