2.1 HARDWARE OVERVIEW
The above block diagram shows the major components of the printer controller.
The main features of the controller are as follows.
1. CPU
An IBM PPC603 (100 MHz) processor is used. A 33 MHz oscillator is used as
the base clock for both this CPU and the coprocessor.
2. Co-processor
