Addendum What This Document Contains This document serves as an addendum to the DDP 184 Printer User’s Guide.
Operator Control Panel Following are OCP menu structures and OCP screens related to the Publishing Finisher.
Finisher Menu When you have the optional Publishing Finisher installed and you select the Finisher icon from the Main Menu, this screen is displayed. You use it to gain access to the Publishing Finisher options described below. For detailed information on using the Publishing Finisher, refer to the Publishing Finisher User’s Guide. Inserter Touch to display options for the Publishing Finisher Insert trays. You use this screened select the paper size, type and weight for the Inserter trays.
Web Pages The following are Web Pages related to the Publishing Finisher. Status-Finisher The Status-Finisher page displays the status of the finisher elements, such as the position of the cover, and the condition of the stacker and staple cartridges. A colored button graphically indicates the condition of each element. n Green indicates a normal condition. n Yellow indicates a warning condition (e.g., consumable near end of life).
System - Finisher - Inserter The Inserter page provides information on the paper in the Publishing Finisher inserter trays, such as the paper size, type, and weight. From this page you can also enter custom paper size settings. After making any desired changes, click Submit to update the setting.
System - Finisher - Stapler The Stapler page lets you modify the stapling position for booklets created with the Publishing Finisher. After making any desired changes, click Submit to update the setting.
System - Finisher - Trimmer The Trimmer page lets you modify the trim position for booklets created with the Publishing Finisher. After making any desired changes, click Submit to update the setting.
System - Finisher - Folder The Folder page lets you modify the folding position for booklets created with the Publishing Finisher. After making any desired changes, click Submit to update the setting.
OCP Display Messages The following table lists the Publishing Finisher-related messages in alphabetical order. Each message is explained and a corrective action is given when applicable. Message Description Corrective Action Call for Service ECxx or other text Any “Call for Service” message requires a service call for problem resolution Line 2 is the error code. Contact your authorized Service Technician and provide the error code displayed on the OCP.
