2.2 Printer setting
2.2.1 Short Stacking
You can set the limit of stack amount of the container stacker through the operator control panel
(hereinafter called “OCP”). By enabling the stack amount limiting function, the printer detects “Paper
Full” when the amount of paper becomes two-thirds of the original full amount of paper. The stack
amount limiting function can be enabled or disabled according to the following procedure.
1. Select the Finisher/ Short Stacking menu. Then the following screen is displayed.
2. Select the icon of the desired stacker to switch the setting between “Enabled” or “Disabled” for the
stack amount limiting function.
(1) It is recommended to limit the stack amount to two-thirds of the full amount of paper for paper
that may curl heavily (paper curl exceed 10 mm after printing).
(2) It is recommended to limit the stack amount to two-thirds of the full amount of paper for large-
sized paper such as A3 and ledger sized paper.
